Review: Panasonic 3D Camcorder for the Home, HDC-SDT750K

3D Videos are the next exciting technology for the Home. Imagine life like 3D movies that you can now shoot on your own, watch at Home and share with family and friends.

Panasonic HDC-SDT750K is a 3D camcorder for home use (available at Amazon for $1350).

A summary of the Panasonic 3D camcorder’s features is below.

To shoot a 3D video, you attach the 3D conversion lens to the body. Once captured, you attach the camcorder to a compatible 3D monitor (e.g. the Samsung UN55C7000) for the best viewing experience (3D glasses needed). The 3D video can also be uploaded to Youtube 3D and shared from there.

While the camcorder is spec’ed for 1080p video at 60 fps, a word of caution, the camcorder shoots 3D video in a 3:2 aspect ratio rather than the 16:9. Also, with the 3D attachment, the zoom functionality and photos are not available.

While the Panasonic is a little pricey, it produces good quality. It will be a good first-generation 3D camcorder for the home.
