Verizon 4G service imminent, Max Speeds of 75 Mbps?

Verizon 4G service is imminent. Verizon ads for LTE USB modems have started appearing (check photo at Engadget). And the first Android LTE phones are available soon after.

Will it provide max speeds of 75 Mbps like NTT DoCoMo’s Xi service?

There are a number of factors that affect the speed – where the user is within Verizon’s coverage area and the backhaul capacity that Verizon had added for each Tower. The backhaul capacity is likely to be the limiting factor for the max speeds.

Hoping to see the fastest speeds from LTE.
