Live Video: Blue Lagoon Spa Iceland, Swimming Next To Snowy Mountains

Planning vacation in Iceland? Travelling to Iceland? Then start with a visit to Iceland with these Live Video Feeds from Reykjavik, where you can see people swimming at the Blue Lagoon Spa right next to snowy mountains and swans swimming on a beautiful frozen pond.

The Blue Lagoon Spa is a geothermal spa with consistently warm seawater. Although it is 35 deg F outside (at the time of the photo) and mountains covered with snow nearby, in the live video feed above, you can see people swimming comfortably in the water. The water temperature itself stays close to 100 deg F. The seawater at the spa is rich in minerals and said to be great for the skin. The mud and water from Blue Lagoon is also used in skin care products.

Blue Lagoon is 47 km from Reykjavik and 22 km from the Keflavik airport

Reykjavíkurtjörn pond is another beautiful spot to visit in Reykjavik. You can see the pond in the Live Video Feed below; the pond is covered with ice with the swans swimming to the side.
