Now HeLa High School for Health and BioScience in Vancouver, Washington – opening Fall 2013.



Henrietta Lacks’ body cells, known as HeLa cells or immortal cells live on today even 60 years after her death. They are the basis for countless developments in medicine and science – from polio vaccine, to cancer and AIDS research to effects of radiation and toxic substances on human cells.
