It's a "company" promising to lower your credit card APR. But they want the expiration date, card number and owning bank. They'll promise they don't want the security code or other "sensitive" information. According to my actual card rep, it's common for these "companies" to charge $300-500 to "lower your APR."

PHISHING SCAM.  Asked for my BOA visa number, said I had no visa.  Was told they meant maastercard, master card visa are the same, just wanted my BOA account #.  Told them I didn't use BOA, said they meant chase.  Terminated call, from BOA visa to chase mastercard, clearly a phishing scam
