Windows 8 Desktop Experience Problems

Windows 8 desktop experience problems.

Windows 8, a mobile OS pushed to the desktop.

A page that looks good on the mobile device will look stretched and hard to read on a larger monitor.

Older apps (most all) are likely to give this poor experience. Apps designed natively for Windows 8 should look better.

It is disconcerting to find a simple command like search taking up the entire screen.

And, instead of a multitasking experience on a desktop, you get a feeling of one-app-at-a-time experience with Windows 8.
